Delete your account

Two ways to do it. Both remove everything, and neither needs a reason.

Option 1: in the app (instant)

  1. Open Sleep Station and tap your avatar in the top corner to open Settings.
  2. Choose Privacy and your data.
  3. If you want a copy first, tap Export my data and save the file somewhere safe.
  4. Tap Delete everything and confirm. Your account and all synced data are removed immediately, and the app returns to its first-run state.

Option 2: from the web (no app needed)

If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, email us and we will do it for you.

Send an email to hello@sleepstationapp.com with the subject "Delete my account".

Send it from the email address on the account, or, if you signed in with Apple or Google, from the address linked to that Apple ID or Google account. That is how we confirm the request is yours; we will not ask for a password and you should never send one. If we cannot match the address, we will reply asking for one more detail, such as the approximate date you created the account.

We confirm by email when it is done, normally within a few working days and always within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in identity (email, or the Apple or Google identifier).
  • Your sleep profile, every sleep session and event summary, every dream journal entry and AI reflection, alarms, settings, notes, and usage counters.
  • Any files stored for your account.
  • Your identifier in our subscription-management provider, so purchases are no longer linked to you.

Rows are removed from our live database immediately and from encrypted backups within 30 days.

What is not affected

  • Data on your phone. Snore clips, dream recordings, transcripts and coach conversations were never on our servers. In-app deletion clears them from the phone as well; if you request deletion by email, uninstall the app to remove them.
  • Your subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play and deleting your account does not cancel one. Cancel it in your store first if you are paying for Premium, or it will keep renewing.
  • Purchase records held by Apple or Google, and the minimal accounting records we must keep by law. These do not contain sleep or dream data.
  • A note that the deletion happened (the date and the request itself), kept so we can show that we did it.

Using guest mode?

If you never created an account, there is nothing on our servers to delete. Uninstalling the app removes everything, or use Settings → Privacy and your data → Delete everything to clear it and keep the app.
